Glamping is a form of camping that includes amenities and home comforts that are not usually used when backpacking or more traditional forms of camping. Glamping typically involves staying in treehouses, safari tents, cabins, yurts, tipis, or other more elaborate structures. Glamping is often confused with glamorous camping which is simply a style of travel involving the use of luxurious accommodations and services during an outdoor adventure.
Glamping can be found almost anywhere in the world but especially in places where there are lush forests and mountains such as Europe, North America and Australia. Some people choose to go on glamping vacations so they can enjoy a luxurious experience without spending too much money on hotels or resorts that cost thousands of pounds per night.
